Michael (Mick) White was born on Valentine's Day in 1944 in the Shepherd's Bush section of London during a heavy bomb raid. He grew up in the nearby town of Acton, and as a youth attended Latymer Upper School. After finishing his studies there, Micky spent some time in the Royal Air Force from 1960-1961.
He came to America in 1967 and began a career at Xerox which lasted until his retirement in 2000. While working, and raising a family of two children, Micky also found time to complete many courses at the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Several years ago, Mick became fascinated with web page design, and began a rigorous self training program, learning to use and become expert in JavaScript, Dreamweaver and Fireworks, among many other programs and languages.

Today his work can be seen on his own web page (mickweb.com) that he maintains, as well as commercial sites such as milestonesmusicroom.com, gerrytimlin.com, and warmheartpuppets.com.
